I had 189 and 190 simultaneously applications running.

No s56 No Form 80 submitted.
For 190 : Lodged date : 8th December 2023 Granted : 13th March 2025
For 189 : Invitation Date : 7th November 2024 Grant Date: 13th March 2025
First 190 was granted at 12:41 and then at 1:51 189 was granted.

wait, what. @parth how did you have 190 and 189 applications running simultaneously. Why did you pay visa fee twice? and did you not withdraw your 190 when applying for 189 later on?
@batman Certainly not ideal given the limited planning levels left this financial year. I think it was last week that there were two recipients who had similar outcomes (i.e. 189 and 190 granted within hours of each other), except they both had multiple dependents as well and utilised even more of the planning levels.
I can appreciate why people hedge their bets and have both submitted concurrently, particularly with how long 190 processing times have been. Not to mention that getting the withdrawal form submitted for the other application is probably not the first thing that comes to mind when people are celebrating the visa grant. It's just unfortunate for the rest of us and the overall planning levels that the second application came through so quickly afterwards.
