Finding it tough to understand how non-priority occupations are being processed faster at all of the 25%, 50% and 75% of applications timeframes. It's only at 90% do some non-priority occupations slow down. Appreciate it's easier to get an invite as a priority, but once you're past the invite it's actually slower as a priority occupation on average than non-priority?! Make it make sense...
// non-priority occupations are being processed faster at all of the 25%, 50% and 75% of applications timeframes// This is not true as a rule as direction 105 is clear on this.
But for 189, most of lodgments are from one single Nov round now, so its a mixed lot, and gives the impression that sometimes priority is bit slower, or the other way around (non-priority). Dont worry about tiny variations like these.
I'm not overdue or anything, submitted on 2nd Jan 2026, but now have hit 5 months and really thought I'd get it in May. Any thoughts if there'll still be grants in June or am I genuinely going to get stuck with the next invite round coming up and delayed?
if you dont get in June, then good chance in July, because July usually has a decent volume of grants.
