@terand (4H ago| Updated 4H ago)When I logged in to my immi account, my status was still "received". I wonder if my application has been assigned with an officer yet. In another word, is it common that the status changes from"received" to "finalized", without going through "initial assessment".

it happens now and then, case to case, file readiness etc. I think it goes to initial assessment if it's touched. But you shouldn't read too much into these labels, they are not very informative, just follow recent grants timelines to get an idea as to whats being processed.
