Hello, we lodged 190 VIC application offshore in Dec23 (mechanical engineer). Newborn was added in March (medical also done and confirmed in immiaccount). Yet our status is still "received". Is there chance of more grants in the next 2 weeks or it would be in the next FY now? I know people have been waiting for longer than us but even 18 months is a long time as we have to plan things for the move, its a huge life change and difficult to keep waiting.

I lodged my EOI for the 189 visa and ROI with Victoria for the 190 visa on 11/02/2025, with 85 points for the 189 and 90 points for the 190 under the Electrical Engineer occupation.

I am currently onshore in Victoria. How long does it usually take to receive an invitation for either of these visas, and are these points sufficient to receive an invitation at all?

@gregormendel I got declaration from NT today. I have already submitted the declaration. Is that preinvite or I will get seperate preinvite ?

TAS update 16 June 2025 Nominations, applications and Registrations of Interest (ROI) Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: - Nominations – 2081 of 2100 places used - Nomination applications lodged but not decided – 59 - Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted – 58 - ROIs on hand - 230

Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: - Nominations – 754 of 760 places used - Nomination applications lodged but not decided – 58 - Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted – 6 - ROIs on hand - 244 Candidates with at least one Orange-Plus attribute will be issued an Orange pass. However, they will be noted internally by Migration Tasmania as a high priority and are highly likely to receive an invitation to apply for nomination within six months. The higher the number of Orange-Plus attributes a candidate attains, the sooner an invitation will be issued.

Employment must be skilled to claim Orange-Plus attributes.

Processing arrangements for end of 2024-25 program year As we approach the end of the program year, we have very few nomination places left and will not be able to nominate all successful applicants before 30 June 2025. We are continuing to process lodged nomination applications and after all places are used any remaining successful applicants will be nominated when we receive our new allocation in the 2025-26 program year. During this period there may be some delay between processing of an application and notification of decisions.

Hi everyone. Lodged my 491 Vic for ECT in May, got invited in April. Can we expect a grant between June/July? Just planning my holiday and wanna give notice resigning soon since im offshore applicant.

For the professional year and regional study filter, they use this -1 and N, And in the Australian study filter option, they use Y and N
