I have applied as single me and my partner are not married yet. We were thinking once one of us received an invite we'll get married and apply for visa as partner dependent Would this be a wise choice?

that would be considered lying. Very good reason to reject your visa. Why would you do that?

No I mean after I get the invite can I get married and say change in circumstances. I will not get married before invite only after invite but before applying for visa

Sure strategy for getting rejected. If you are claiming single you have to remain single till the visa grant. Otherwise everyone will use this strategy to fool the system. You are not single. You are in a relationship. To me it seems like you are in what Australia calls as "Defacto relationship". You can put EOI as "Defacto relationship" and you dont even have to ever get married and still both of you get the grant. Just stay honest man and no need to game the system.

@prerna It's not about onshore or offshore. The main point is to declare your relationship before submitting EOI or after visa grant. otherwise, they will think you are cheating the system
