@gregormendel- Hi. Can you advise how the new planning levels affect our application; it was submitted Dec 24, S56 on 28th May. It’s not been processed in FY24-25.

Does this mean we now fall under the 25-26 numbers? I’d read the planning was going to a four year plan instead of annual, and that it’s still under consultation, so until they come out (Q4 2025) we won’t receive anything.

How true do you know this to be from experience?

Many thanks

@blackbaba 1y ago

you dont have to worry about any of the details (SST), you should get grant within the next 3 months, likely earlier.

@blackbaba 1y ago

your grant will be processed from the Planning Levels of the new FY.

@blackbaba 👍

Hi- thanks for reply. I should add it was the 189 we have applied for; Secondary teacher. Do you know why 3 months, and so long? It’s already been 7. We had one S56 and responded within 30min.

Why would we need to wait a further 3 months?

@gregormendel 1y ago

I think he said up to 3 months, not 3 months since there is still a large backlog from Nov round.

@ukteacher189 1y ago

Hi. Appreciate it, thank you. We finish our current employed roles in two days, and had hoped having submitted in December it would be all done so we’re hope for a decision soon

@unitedk 1y ago

I can understand how it feels like to wait for another 3 months, I have been waiting for last 2 years checking my IMMI account and smart visa guide daily with so many things pending on to do list.

@gregormendel 1y ago

ukteacher, good chances of grant in July/Aug as priority occupation

@nermin 1y ago

When will be the expected date for 189?
