yes sir i am actively checking grants everyday still there is a lag since 28 July. and dont know the reason behind it.
Left hand checking the right. Government makes a shortage list; we apply, and the CO couldn’t give a damn. We applied 2nd Dec; 189, priority. Heard nothing. If this was the UK, US, or Canada it would be a global laughing stock. How they’re getting away with it I don’t know.
@gregormendel- with all due respect this is not a reasonable estimation. I joined where the website estimate was 3 months. It’s now 8months. Bit of a difference. You can’t expect people to just see an average and accept that
yes its frustrating. I am also waiting from last 8 months. after 28 July there are no major grants. Same occupation was granted that day, which made me anxious aout my application.
the website estimate is not and can not be a static number (because no one knows the exact future). It's a mathematical calculation (same method as DHA), and estimate changes every day based on latest grants. So it's same as DHA, just more real time. Moreover, its split into priority versus non-priority here, whereas DHA only provides a combined statistic.
189 visa grants this year are taking more time then earlier years which was approx. in 6 months.
