I had tax of 2252 AUD to pay to ATO for tax year 2025 and for 2024 I had 4152 AUD to pay. At the time time my tax agent told me to tick 'NO' in Form 80 for tax debt. I applied 189 visa with it for November invitation in January. I did beleive in tax agent consutations and ticked 'NO' but did not know even in ABN income its considered debt. Only in September this year I made a payment plans after 2025 lodgement and the previous debt got redcued to 2252 AUD. Do you think that Immigration can see this as misleading as I rectified mistake in Form 1023 and submitted ATO payment plan to them? Why is it taking so long for my visa to be granted too as it has been more than 9 months? Thanks.
