For occupations related to infrastructure and construction, what are the chances that the minimum points to be invited will be retained (i.e. 70 for Structural Engineer, 85 for Civil Engineer, 75 for CPM)? Would like to hear your thoughts.

No S56 nor grants for 491. My anxiety is going up, been waiting for the past 25 months
The department forgot about this visa. Very frustrating. This is not even a PR visa. and they charge the same amount as 189 or 190. To wait 25-30 months for a 60 months work visa which is what it is got to be the most insane thing....
You said it correctly mate, I at times wished if they refund withdrawals. You know you can not do anything progressive when you are waiting for a visa, you are always expecting to make the move but yet time is moving, you are getting old. I'm really pissed off...checking email every day

Same, when I applied processing times were 9 months 50% of applications an 14 months 90% of applications. been waiting for 20 months and half and still nothing, just "further assessment". If at least we saw grants we would think "ok it's moving, soon it will be my turn" but we just don't see any end to this wait

@Gregormendel Hi Greg, I got S56 for 190 last week for medicals and I am done with them last week. Is it ok if I travel offshore this weekend while waiting for grant? will my Visa grant delays if I go offshore during this time?
They will most probably be asking for biometrics if offshore, so you are looking at another s56.
What if I come back in less than a week? and still my file not opened?

I received s56 on 14th July for polio certificate and health undertaking, which I submitted on 16th July. Priority occupation, 491, when can I expect grant?
