Totally agree, it's disheartening. Dec files l being stuck while Mar/Apr ones get granted feels really unfair. Hope they clear the backlog soon.wait for July surely they will start granting

That is indeed a long wait. You are probably outside of the processing time window and eligible for giving them a call and ask for prioritising your application. But then they may or may not do anything by saying you fall outside the 90% which is the infamous 10% of applications. They haven't even announced the planning levels which is another uncertainty for the next FY. I don't know if the department would start granting visas without planning levels Its all very murky and raising people's BP and stress....

I had a couple of calls and pretty standard response. More like “you will get it when you get it” I don’t think calls will do anything at all. All I hope is they start from old applications first
