Settlement Funds are no longer required. 📍18 Sep 2025: QLD Occupation List and Salary Calculation Tool published. 📍16 Sep 2025: First ACT Round of FY2025-26 seems to be continuing today. 📍15 Sep 2025: QLD announced in webinar that the state will open the ROIs for FY2025-26 state nomination program on 19 Sep 2025 📍15 Sep 2025: First ACT Round of FY2025-26. More here 📍14 Sep 2025: 190 Priority grants are seen on 14 September (Sunday), which is rare. 📍11 Sep 2025: NT updates that the Australian Government has released a small interim allocation while State and Territory governments await the full allocation for this program year. The NT Government has a limited number of subclass 491 nominations available for eligible onshore applicants with certain visa deadlines falling before 31 December 2025. Read here 📍09 Sep 2025: Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) announces that DHA expects to hold a 189 round each quarter (3 months). Next round expected before end of 2025 calendar year. 📍09 Sep 2025: ACT announces that the first invitation round for the 2025-26 financial year will be conducted on or before Monday 15 September 2025. Further invitation rounds will be scheduled once the final allocation is announced. 📍08 Sep 2025: WA announces they have received a small interim allocation for Subclass 190 and 491 which will be used to process existing preinvites (from last FY). Read full update here. 📍03 Sep 2025: SA Migration Update: The Commonwealth Government have provided South Australia with a small interim allocation for the 2025-26 program year. Given the small number of interim allocations, Skilled and Business Migration (SBM) will not open for new Registration of Interest (ROI) applications and instead focus on inviting strong applicants contributing to the state’s workforce requirements, including from the ROI’s submitted in the 24-25 program year. Once the Commonwealth Government provides South Australia with its full allocation, SBM will release its full policy settings for the upcoming program year. 📍02 Sep 2025: FY2024-25 Planning Levels announced: The number of people entering Australia through the permanent migration program will remain unchanged, with the government maintaining its annual cap of 185,000 people. 🔸 Do I need new EOIs and ROIs for FY2025-26? We will update this as information is released. Check which state need ROI here and view FY2024-25 requirements here. - ACT: Existing ROI and EOI is okay. - NSW: Existing EOIs are okay. - NT: Existing EOIs and ROIs are okay. - QLD: Existing EOI is okay but new ROI is required. - SA: Existing EO/ROI is okay. - TAS: Existing EOI is okay. Submit new ROI as ranking system is changing. - VIC: Existing EOI and ROI is okay. - WA: Existing EOI is okay. Note: EOIs expire after 2 years.
🔸 I have a preinvite from last FY, when will I receive full invite? Most states will gradually open over the July-Sep period, but usually states start issuing full invites to preinvites carried over from previous FY, as early as July.
🔸 When did the states open last FY? - ACT: opened on 16 July 2024 - NSW: opened on 10 October 2024 - NT: opened on 22 July 2024, but quickly closed for OFFSHORE priority stream applicants due to an influx of large number of applicants. - QLD: opened on 13 September 2024 - SA: opened on 15 August 2024, although we saw some preinvites being selectively sent even before this official opening date. - TAS: opened on 1 August 2024, although we saw some preinvites being selectively sent as early as 04 July 2024 - VIC: opened on 14 August 2024 - WA: opened on 19 July 2024
