TAS Processing arrangements for end of FY2024-25 With almost 90 per cent of nomination places either used or offered, restrictions may be placed on submission of further ROIs in the coming weeks.
Once all nomination places are used, applications for nomination will still be able to be lodged and Migration Tasmania will continue to assess any applications that have not yet been decided. However any applications that are approved will be nominated after Tasmania receives its nomination allocation for the 2025-26 program year.
Hi @gregormendel, I received a preinvite from NSW today for Software Engineer. I already received a preinvite on March 25 for Systems Analyst, both at 95 points. I am still waiting for final invite (5 weeks now) for Systems analyst. My issue is that I claimed all experiences that were positively assessed for Systems Analyst. If you follow date deemed skilled (I know NSW now follows DHA policy) my total xp would be less than 8 years as ACS deducted 6 years. I have 13+ years total xp all positively assessed. However, for Software Engineer, ACS only deducted 4 years so even though you follow date deemed skilled, I still have 8+ years of xp. Should I apply for SE instead of Systems Analyst as there is no final invite yet just to be on the safe side? How should I inform NSW of my intention to do this? Your input here will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
