Offshore NSW190 190 Granted just now (NSW) 23rd April 2025 Occupation: Telecom Network Engineer Visa lodged: 4th April 2023 Long wait of 24 months over but real struggle will start now.
Had 3 S56 including polio certificates, PCC & ReMedicals,
Last S46 was Medical which came by 10th march , Medical submitted 2nd April

We got the Golden Email today!
After 22 long months of waiting, itโs finally happened our visa has been granted!
Details for those still in the process:
- Visa Lodged: 8th June 2023
- Visa Type: 190
- State: NSW
- Points: 75
- Applicant Type: Offshore
We renewed our PCC last year since itโs only valid for 12 months.
Received the S56 request last month and submitted the medicals the very next day.
Exactly 29 days later โ status changed from Further Assessment be to Finalised!

Hi everyone, we got our grants this morning. (6am South African time)
We are family of 6, mom, dad and four daughters.
Iโm going to try to detail everything below. Heart still racing ๐
Class Visa: 491 State: South Australia Invite received October 31 2023 Visa Lodged: 19 December 2023 Medicals done: 28 December 2023, same day Biometrics Status went from Further Assessment since lodgement to Direct Grant. No commencement email No S56
What we did proactively, I have updated PCCโs, and employment information. I added my payslips monthly (was just trying to avoid S66 for employment info) Tax information I also updated.

I'm happy for you mate. I'm also waiting for my 491 since June 2023 applying from south africa as well. So no remedical? Can you explain further on employment information, I changed my employer 8 months after visa lodgement, do i need to update them as well?
