@gregormendel Hi, DHA has around 33,000 seats that ideally need to cover both the backlogs and last year’s applications (i.e. those lodged between July 2024 and June/July 2025). It’s good that the backlogs are now being cleared, as many applicants have already waited for 26–27 months. However, if DHA continues granting visas to new applicants from Aug–Oct 2025 under priority occupations, how will they ensure that non-priority applicants from the 2024–25 cycle also receive grants within the same 33,000 seats? Is their any chance that the allocated seats will be consumed and 2024-25 non priority applicants need to wait a long? Need your kind insights for planning child's schooling, career etc. Thanks
