EEG -completed with good results BAER(Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response) - 3 failed attempts via natural sleep, conducted by 2 reputable hospitals in the country. According to them they rarely get successful test for 2yr old using natural sleep cause they easily wake up while the wires are being attached or the earpiece. We did'nt approve the last option which is to undergo sedation.

We requested the developmental pedia for a second assessment instead of BAER, because during the first assessment our son was irritable due to cold and cough, however it's hard to get another schedule for developmental pedias, and they only schedule 2nd assessment strictly after 6 months, which is kind of frustrating.

Frustrating because as parents we don't see any hearing problems with our son, he sings along with his favorite songs on youtube and he copies words from older siblings when they are playing. At the time our son was assessed by developmental pedia, he has cold and cough and we waited for an hour before asseessment started so he was already irritable and tired.
