491 Lodged: 3rd Aug 2023. S56: 9th Sep 2025. For remedical, passport renewal, 80 form, and no criminal records.

Recieved QLD - 190 grant today after 2+years Visa lodgement - Sept 23 Software engineer - Offshore /95 points Received S56 last week - remedicals & Form80 Added new PCC last year to avoid s56 Status changed from initial assessment to finalized
Waiting for 189 grant. ECT lodged on 5 Dec 2024 . Status still showed received. Called them multiple times still no progress. Its frustrating.
189 grants, 190 grants, 491 only s56......Seems like 491 is least priority and of no use...Its just announced to show they care about Regional Australia but in reality they dont care. Seems like this year there wont be many 491 grants again.
Do anyone has any idea when I can receive my Grant DOL 14.6.23 ? S56 - 08 may 2025 redo medicals submitted medicals on 18 May since 21 may 2025 my immi account says further assessment now.
My current visa is also going to expire in a month from now.
You'd go on bridging visa when your visa expires but waiting since June 2023 is insane.

Status changed from initial assessment to further assessment
3rd feedback complaint lodged in Dec 2024
I got weird S57 on 29/01/25 (related to defacto partner) last year I called DOHA and ask about my file status. At that time I told them “because of visa delay I’m not getting married” Immediately CO thinks I’m in Defacto relationship that’s why they send S57
I Provided public notary with cover letter with clear explanation on 30/01/25. After that, dead silence for 7 months, finally they approved my S57
Almost 6 feedbacks lodged between from Oct 2024 to July 2025
S56 14/07/25 (Australian PCC, Indian PCC and form 80)
S56 Submitted 25/07/25
S56 again CO asking Australian PCC (NFP) on 28/07/25 (May be he/she didn’t check properly). I submitted same Australian PCC again on the same day.
11/08/25 Again S56 - indian PCC. Again CO didn’t check my documents properly. On the same day I submitted indian PCC.
Turnaround time: 30 months
Grant: 09/09/2025

190 Finally got grant Applied on 12 June WA Chef First S56 on 8th May Employment evidence and medical Second on 29th August My baby’s medical Grant on 09/09/2025 Thanks for your support.

190 Received our S56 today morning at 9 am ADL time (Medicals + PCC) I have already updated PCC proactively, not sure why it was asked, giving my Medicals tomorrow

Received 491 Offshore Remedical for 4 members family today - 27 July 2023
They are giving s56 to people, but not processing the files of people who received s56 while ago and have fulfilled the s56 request.

I submitted my 491 visa application on 28 June 2023 and completed the medical exam on 12 August this year. Could you please let me know roughly when the grant might arrive? I’m really looking forward to starting my new life in Australia—thank you so much for your help!
there are still a bunch of files from June 2023. At this stage, you just have to wait some more, probably between 1 to 8 weeks, depends on your luck and other factors.
I truly hope that the applications submitted in June can be processed soon—the wait has indeed been very long. Still, I’m deeply grateful for your reply! I look forward to receiving my visa approval as soon as possible.
