First s56 was for my recent Australia travel history and wifeโs Singapore PCC
Second s56 was received on 23 April 2025 (for wifeโs NZ police clearance)
We submitted everything by 29 April 2025
Really hoping and praying something comes today or tomorrow ๐ Feels like another day might pass without an update as it's almost over now.
Would love to hear if anyone with similar timelines has received any news.
S56 on 30th april, AFP submitted 06th May and health clearance was provided on 9th May, still status is further assessment, really hoping to hear something this week. Finger crossed
seems that only those who received s56 before could get granted now...(I mean who lodged 190 before 24.3)

I cant figure out any logic in how this department works. It all seems very random. There are 189, 190 grants raining today even though every one thought the quota is nearly over while for 491 its is just plain silence even though there appears to be atleast 5000 slots unused......... :( The graph for 491 is dismal with just 3 grants in the past 7 days...
yes very random...I could see they keep granting 190 lodged after 24/03 or those received s56 before, but I know lots of people lodged between 23/06-24/02 were skipped(without s56 even)

I noticed something. Back in July I had submitted a 190 application for the same occupation. My case officer approved both today. So, I think 190 is catching up as well same CO They approved 190 followed by 189
I really hope so. We are close to 6 months now, priority 189.
