Hi everyone. Wondering if anyone could clarify a question I am stuck on on form 80. In the section asking your visa history, one of the details it asks for is place of visa issue. All my visas were done online, but I’m assuming Place of Issue wouldn’t be Department of Home Affairs. Do I just write Austrália ( but then wouldn’t they all be Australia since the form is in support of a visa for Australia?). I’ve also read to type in the city which you arrived in Australia. If anyone that has gone through this recently and can shed a light, would be much appreciated. Thank you !
Good Morning Everyone, I hope everyone doing well. Yesterday NSW 491 pathway 1 opened and closed with in 7hours. I am sitting on 100points as a developer and anaylst programmer for nsw 190. I am living in sydney and submitted EOI for 491 pathway 2 with 110points. Is there any chances that they gona run a round for pathway 2. Do they really invite onshore candidates for 491 pathway 2.
Thanks really stressed and depressed.

Non-priority occupations show varied processing times. The Carpenter case (190 WA) lodged in April 2025 received an S56 request for AFP on 20 January 2026, indicating processing times exceeding 8 months. The Software Engineer case (491 TAS) demonstrates significantly extended processing, with a 27-month timeline from lodgement to grant, including multiple S56 requests for Form 80, remedicals, and PCC.
The Social Worker case (189) processed efficiently at approximately 1.5 months without reported S56 requests. The Registered Nurse case received an S56 request shortly before grant, with total processing time of approximately 1.5 months.
Tasmania nominations continue to process efficiently, with one case reporting approval within 9 days of lodgement after case officer assignment.
