WA 190: General Stream Employment Contract Requirements For...
@gregormendel (4H ago| Updated 3H ago)WA 190: General Stream Employment Contract Requirements For 190 General Stream, unless you are exempt as a Building and Construction occupation, you require a 6 month full time employment contract to fulfill the 190 nomination conditions.
This contract is NOT part of the WA ranking criteria (used to send pre invites). That is, you DO NOT need to have a contract when submitting an EOI for WA.
Ranking for invites is purely based on occupation+stream+residency+total points. This means you will get a pre invite based on your occupation, stream, total points and residency, as claimed in your EOI.
Once you get a pre invite, then you need to provide proof of having a 6M employment contract, within 28 days from the date of preinvite. If you fail to provide, you will not receive a full invite. Therefore, only put EOI for 190 if you are sure that you can organize this contract.
TLDR: The 6M contract is a requirement of successful WA nomination, but it's not required to get a pre invite. Preinvite is based on EOI. Contract is required after preinvite, you get 28 days to submit.
