Alhamdulilah 491 Granted & family of three Application lodged: 22nd September 2023 S56 1st on 23rd March 2025 Re-medical and Police clearance & polio for me and my wife Onshore Occupation: Electronic Engineer - WA Pts: 80 S56 2nd on 24th April 2025 Just polio vaccine for my son, it was uploaded before the case officer requested again. Lodged complaint through GFU on 27th July 2025, got response on 12 August 2025 and I lodged the complaint again through GFU on 22nd August 2025. I also called the immigration and they noted down the details and submitted for priority. Today I got the grant.

Visa granted after 25 months (almost 26 months) โ Visa Subclass 190

My case was a bit complicated: Got nomination for visa SC491 in March 2023 and applied for visa SC491 in March 2023. Main Applicant: Spouse Skill Assessment: Accountant Medical done: 12th April 2023 Got Bridging Visa A and applied for Bridging Visa B to go back to home country. Booked a flight for home country for 30th June 2023.
Then, Got nomination for visa SC190 on 26th June 2023 and applied for visa SC190 on 28th June 2023. Withdrew of visa 491 on 1st July 2023 Main Applicant: Myself Skill Assessment: ICT Support Engineer Got Bridging Visa C so could not travel and had to cancel our plans and flight.
I moved from Sydney to Hobart during Covid and joined a diploma course through a consultancy but got ignored by them. Then went to another migration lawyer and paid $2500 for the service, but they messed up my skill assessment and didnโt give proper consultation. They even asked me to move to Adelaide (I had just moved from Sydney to Tasmania). So, I went to another consultancy, and all the process was done smoothly for both visa SC491 and SC190.
Applied through Tasmanian Skilled Employment Pathway. Had to change three different companies as we were in student visa. Worked for Company A: 3 months as IT Tech Worked for Company B: 4 months as Network & System Administrator Working in Company C as IT Administrator. Company C was not happy to hire me because of my student visa, but I convinced them that I was in the process of getting a visa with no work restrictions. Then I worked there for 6 months and applied for visa SC190.
When I applied for visa SC190, the processing time was 9 months. By the time I reached the end point, they increased the processing time and finally I was granted the visa after 25 months.
