existing visa caseload (8484 as at 31 March) for 189 might span ~ 6 months. We need to wait for the planning level announcement for coming FY to make a better assessment.

6 months span means: 6 months from the date of lodgement or 6 months of next FY?
over the next 6 months 8484 is roughly half year worth's planning level (if we assume current FY 16900 as baseline)
