VIC 190 Visa Granted Occupation Accountant - 85 Points (Including state 5 points) Main Applicant had Superior English & Partner's PTE & Skills were assessed too. Main Applicant working in their own industry. 25 Sept 2023 Received Pre-Invite 2nd Week Nov 2023 State Rejected Invite Last Week Nov 2023 Appealed Decision 8th Dec 2023 State Reviewed Appeal & Overturned their decision. Received Final Invite 30th Dec 2023 Lodged Final Visa Application through immi account Feb & March 2024 Medical & PCCs Done 8th April 2025 Visa Status changed from Received to GRANTED. Invite was rejected as State thought Applicant's Occupation doesn't fall under Skill Level 1, 2 or 3. We contacted so many migration agent including all famous ones which are active on social media. Everyone advised to start all over again. Nothing can be done with rejection. Entire Process from getting skills assessed to lodging visa was done by Applicants themselves including appealing the rejection.

@gregorMendel maybe the old website design was better as quite a few users dont update the event anymore and instead add a post like this....By not updating they are forever tagged as waiting visa...........maybe tweak the website design a bit....

//By not updating they are forever tagged as waiting visa// There is no solution to people abandoning their timelines. Same before, same now. Moreover, many people don't want to update their timelines, atleast now they can make a quick post here. Earlier, there was no option for them.
For users waiting grant, after 1 month of inactivity (not logging in), they are marked as "not active" (which also shows on their profile) and excluded from all calculations/analytics.
The focus of this website is to get 95% of important stuff done, and not get caught up in 5% trivial details.

if no events are added the default/starting state is "waiting invite". These are simple indicators, not meant to probed deeply into for exhaustiveness. Mostly self evident.

Iโm also general practitioner waiting for 190 grant since 7 Feb, still showing received, could there be anything wrong with the application? Given that Iโve seen people get grant within a month.

Congratulations to everyone who has been granted. I am awaiting a 189 visa, submitted December 2nd; Secondary School Teacher. In only seeing occupations related to programming and engineering being granted; Secondary teaching is a shortage occupation. Are they not granting any, and only engineering?
