This post is proof that you must know the rules of immigration by heart and never depend on the agent or lawyer fully. 190 Skilled Employment Pathway. Green attribute. Occupation : Customer Service Manager Points : 65 Graduated in Sydney : June 2021 (Bachelor of Business, Economics) Moved to Tasmania : April 2022 Skills assessment submitted : 2024 April (by lawyer) Skills assessment outcome : negative May 2024 Skills assessment applied for reassessment and this time I myself made sure all the documents are correct, although the lawyer said there is almost zero hope as they thought it would be negative again. They suggested to get enrolled in Early childhood or disability. Skills assessment outcome : positive December 2024 EOI and ROI lodge : 27 Dec 2024 (by myself) ROI pre invite : January 8, 2025 Applied for nomination : January 20, 2025 (by myself) Nomination rejected : 9am February 19, 2025 Reason : Occupation nominated is not listed in DHA Appealed for review : 10am February, 2025 (by myself) Provided screenshots of the DHA website that the occupation was never removed and all occupations are eligible for 190 Skilled Employment Pathway. Nomination approved : 3.30pm February 19, 2025 (same day) Alhamdulillah for everything but the lawyers and case officers won't always know what's the best option or route. So you really need to keep yourself updated always with the Home Affairs website and Migration Tasmania website. Best of luck everyone!
