Why is there currently a three-month wait for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests?
At the moment, many of us are still waiting for FOI requests submitted for April, May, and June to be released.
My understanding is that there were relatively few visa grants during May and June due to limited allocations, and it also appears that visa grants have not yet started for July. If that's the case, I would have expected more FOI requests to have been processed during this period.
Could someone please explain the reason for the current three-month delay in FOI processing?
Dear admins, would it be possible to follow this up with the Department of Home Affairs and seek clarification on the cause of these delays?
Thank you.
I think I have already responded to your earlier comments. No one know why there is a longer wait. It's been followed up. Only DHA knows.
