We recently moved to a regional postcode within a Melbourne suburb, and I’ve just received a hybrid-role opportunity in Melbourne that aligns really well with my experience. The employer is supportive and has even agreed to list the role as “remote” on the contract to accommodate the 491 visa conditions.
Before I move forward, I’m trying to understand the implications. Would accepting a Melbourne‑based role that’s contractually marked as remote cause any issues later when applying for the 191 visa, or is it safer to hold off to avoid complications down the track?
