My partner and I got an invitation from ACT for the 491 through him. As he is the main applicant. I am a counsellor with a Masterโs degree from NSW. I am onshore on 485 which actually expires in February 2026. This came in on a timely manner. -He is Offshore -He is a Biochemist -100 points (he has a PhD in the field and lots of experience) plus claimed points from me. Plus state points -He is 43yrs -I have 2yrs onshore experience in my field after graduating (NSW). -He has superior English (I have competent English, PTE knocked me down 3 times.., till I gave up). -EOI was put through 6weeks ago -I moved to ACT 2.5months ago (working in my field)

Is MOFA attestation required for PCCs? They have QR code for verification these days and take live photo of the applicant.

Applied on 21/07/23,,,,got s56 on 31/07/25,,,,, after that no response.
That's sad they are not bothering clearing S56 applications
We applied on 23/06/23 and received S56 on 24/07/25. We completed our medicals on 16th August and they were cleared by 20th August. Still waiting for the grant.

I have seen other states applications are ahead & they are granting immediately after clearing S56.
