@gregormendal- is WA open for ROI? When is the probable date for other states to apply for ROIs? Any info wrt to 234111

@gregormendel - I would like to access my skillselect EOI. From last night i am not getting the user id and pw page at all on skill select. Is everyone facing the same issue. Total DHA website seems bit different to me now without the content to proceed to next page.

@gregormendal- I had applied for 189/190/491 under 234111. As they say 5more points fo 190 and 15 more points for 491. Already submitted in skill select with those marks added. But how does that happen in reality. For ex if my basic score is 75, while drawing invitations for 190 and 491, am i considered to have 75 or the extra marks added. Do i need nomination from that area for that visa? How does this happen, i would like to know.

Under 149914 I could see two visa grants in this year one from onshore and one from offshore. How do i get to know when they applied and when they got invited. I see data only from visa lodged date. Pls let me know where to look for that info.Thanks

@gregormendel- Hi. I heard on the news yesterday that some works in Australia are not preferred to be done by Australians and so they need migrants to do that work and that's the reason they have been taking lots of migrants from a long time and current housing crisis and other factors have led to making some occupations priority and prioritize onshore to avoid more influx of migrants. Yesterday there was news that Pauline Hanson suggested to completely ban immigration from those 'not safe to travel ' countries which are around 23 red listed. It was told on the news that Albanese govt is considering the same but not sure. Is there any news about this becoming a reality immediately or soon? @gregormendel- Processing priorities for nomination and visa applications in DHA website- What does nomination actually mean? Under what circumstances nomination usually comes? Is it only for 491?

@gregormendel @biotechy - Hi. Could someone help me understand if submitting EoI for two different ANZScodes 149914 and 234111 is not right as both are assessed by VETASSES? I am being told now by some people only ACS assessed job codes can be applied in multiple by a single applicant but vetasses assessed job codes could be allowed only one per one applicant. Am I going to face any issues in future because of this. I have applied for NAATI too to claim the additional 5m. Someone who are aware of this kindly help me get a clarity. Where do i look up for this info

@gregormendel- I got a mail that Tasmania RoI is open till 3 June 2026. But the gateway account for ROI is not working and is under maintenance. its showing me this-' Tasmania Skilled visa state nomination process 1. Eligibility Checker' - That eligibility checker is not active and shows under maintenance. Pls clarify this issue

Hi all- Is there any news that NAATI would be discontinued after July 2026? Should i go for it to improve marks or wait for changes ? Also is there any time line yearly or quarterly for the states to open for filing specific RoIs like ACT, victoria etc. which months do they open or is ther any timeline or periodicity for it? Hi- Any latest invitations for 234111- Agriculture Consultant in the last few days, Pls share the details

Hi everyone, seeking clarification and insights from applicants under ANZSCO 234111 – Agricultural Consultant, especially those applying for subclass 491.

I have been speaking with a few migration consultants in India to understand the current trend for 234111, but I am getting completely different information from different people, and nothing seems consistent.

One consultant says that states are generally not nominating 234111 easily under 491. Another consultant told me that since 2022 there has been almost no movement or invitations for 234111 under subclass 491.

However, while going through this website and timelines, I noticed one applicant with the following NSW 491 timeline:

• 03 Dec 2023 – Submitted 491 NSW visa application • 07 Oct 2025 – Received s56 Request for Further Information • 12 Dec 2025 – 491 NSW Visa Granted

This made me wonder whether 491 invitations are actually happening for 234111 these days, but only in limited numbers, or whether most movement is happening only through 189/190 pathways.

My current base score is 70 points (before state nomination points), and I am trying to understand realistically how competitive this occupation is for 491 in the current scenario.

Would really appreciate inputs from:

• recent invitees,
• people with lodged ROIs/EOIs,
• applicants waiting in the pool,
• or anyone tracking 234111 trends.

Are 491 invitations for 234111 actually happening? Which states are showing movement, if any? Do applicants with lower base scores still have reasonable chances through 491?

I lodged an EOI under ANZSCO 234111 Agricultural Consultant and selected 189, 190 and 491 (State/Territory nominated). My base score is 70.

A consultant told me that 491 is not really possible unless a state first nominates me, because only then the additional 15 points are granted. However, while filing the EOI, SkillSelect itself showed my 491 points as 85 automatically.

So I am confused about how the system actually works. Before nomination, is my EOI already considered in the pool at 85 points for 491 selection? Or does the EOI remain at 70 until a state decides to nominate, after which the 15 points and invitation come together? The consultant says-applicaiton would be lying there in the pool till state or family nominates- else there is no way for getting invitation at all. He says 491 is not practical or possible for me at all. I am totally confused

Would appreciate clarification from people familiar with the process.
