@cheekysquirrel6209 (1W ago| Updated 1W ago)Hi All, I am waiting for subclass 190 grant from Victoria for around 23 months now. Applied on 18 Sep 2024. Occupation: Mechanical Engineer, Offshore, points: 90+5. Anyone in the similar situation? When can i expect grant or S56 atleast?

Honestly this is getting quite concerning in my eyes. I think DOHA is trying to push down the 50% and 90% benchmarks of processing times, so once the benchmarks are pushed further down, those left not processed in the waves have to keep waiting. By the end of May 2026, there were only 7500-ish pending cases for those lodged before 1 July 2025, so if DOHA just spends 2.5 months this financial year, all early backlogs will be gone and we can jump right into the more current cases. It is bad management, but not sure what you can do. By the way, I just checked, there are very few cases left in your monthly cohort, out of the 1190 September 2024 applicants, only 20 are still pending, so I wonder if you case is more complicated. @gregormendel @biotechy Any opinions?
To know that only 20 cases from september 2024 are pending and I am one of them is really concerning for me. I dont know if my case is complex or not.. Here is the quick sumamry. 1. Superior english, partner with competent english and skill assessment in electrical engineering. 2. Has 5 years of experience in the nominated field offshore and claimed points for same. 3. Updated mine and my partner passport in Aug 2025. 4. welcome new our baby in oct 2025 and submitted form to add baby to application in dec 2025. Uploaded passport and birth certicate.
I have done medicals and PCC with in one month of applying.. Both were uploaded by end of Oct 2025..
Wondering if updating passports and adding new born baby is delaying process?
