Hello everyone,
I was wondering if someone would be able to clarify a couple things for me regarding the requirements to lodge a ROI for the 491 visa in Victoria.
I will be starting my job as an Enrolled Nurse with an agency in regional Victoria (the agency has an office in a regional town). The live in Melbourne website says that there are no requirements for minimum work experience but 4 most recent payslips need to be provided.
I also read that if I am claiming income as a casual employee then the most recent 8 payslips need to be provided.
I wanted to know whether I would need to wait 4-8 weeks before loding my ROI or whether I can do it now. And how much time do we get to provide any required documents if the ROI is selected?
Lastly, would my emplyment with a nursing agency be an issue for the 491 eligibilty?
Thank you.

Trends and Patterns in S56 Requests
Common S56 Requests: - Medicals/Remedicals: Multiple cases across all subclasses, particularly for offshore applicants and dependents. Polio and TB screening requests were common for children. - Police Clearance Certificates (PCC): Frequent requests for fresh PCCs, especially for offshore applicants. Some cases required MOFA attestation. - Employment Evidence: Several requests for payslips, tax assessments, bank statements, reference letters, and employment contracts. - Health Undertakings (Form 815): Requested for health-related conditions. - AFP Checks: Australian Federal Police checks requested for onshore applicants.
Processing Observations: - Priority Occupations (Health and Teaching): Grants processed in 2-3 months (e.g., Special Needs Teacher: 2M 30D, Secondary Teacher: ~1M, Occupational Therapist: ~2.5M). - Non-Priority Occupations: Significantly longer processing times ranging from 9-34 months. ICT and Engineering occupations showed processing times of 12-16 months, while some Chef and Accountant applications took 24-34 months. - Direct Grants: Several cases reported no S56 requests, resulting in faster processing. - Multiple S56s: Some applications received 2-3 S56 requests, extending processing times considerably.
