My cousin has a job opportunity from Tasmania as a pharmacy technician in Hospital. He is right now working in Melbourne, as pharmacy technician as well.
What are the chances of getting Invite once he enter green group after first 6 months??
Is it a good to move to Tasmania or not ??? Or should he wait in Melbourne for invite.
Need to know ASAP.

I think it's really early to decide as the state levels and rules are not decided yet.
The 6 months rule can extend to 12 months looking at a huge influx of interstate applicants coming in just for the residency.
Saying that Tasmania is the safest option for residency as there is no english test & Naati requirements, and the biggest difference is a invite is guaranteed once you check all the boxes.
I personally would recommend the move as the uncertainty factor is vic is really high. People with less points, experience gets invited if they've skilled partner and higher salary, and all these factors are not concrete.
