In March 2025, I lodged my 491 visa application onshore and was granted a BVA. Currently, I am on a 476 visa, which is expiring very soon on the 28th of February 2026. I recently travelled to Pakistan and returned to Australia today on my valid 476 visa. Because my BVA was inactive when I left the country, I am confused about whether it ceased upon my departure. Now that I am back in Australia, will my BVA automatically activate when my 476 expires next week, or do I need to manually apply for bridging visa A again through my ImmiAccount to reinstate it before the 28th? I want to make sure I don't accidentally become unlawful next week, so any guidance on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.
