I’ve already submitted my EOI. However, my 485 visa is expiring in June. If I need to return to my home country after the visa expires, do I need to update my address to my home country, or does it not matter if I move from onshore to offshore?
Additionally, I have 80 points for the 190 and 75 points for the 189 as a Social Worker. Do you think this is sufficient? I could increase my points but have been struggling to get 79 in each component—I always miss out on one.
Should I also try 491 pathway 2?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
If you move offshore you will need to update your address to offshore. You will no longer be classified an onshore resident. This means you will need to wait 3 months for 491 and 6 months for 190 to become eligible to apply as offshore for NSW (for pathway 2) Other states have different rules.

For 189 I mean 80 of your own points. 75 may (or may not) work but 80 is much better
Should I also apply for 491 Pathway 2 before the next round? Will it be a good idea?
