@gregormendel Sir, My wife and I are applying for a visa along with our two children who are both under 18 years of age. Could you please confirm whether we need to submit Form 1229 – Consent documents for children under 18 as part of the ITA (Invitation to Apply) stage? Thank you for your guidance.

@gregormendel sir, I’m hoping to get some advice. My skills assessment was done through IML, as they are my nominated assessing authority. While the assessment was successful, they evaluated my MBA as equivalent to an Associate Degree. Based on someone’s advice, I also had a qualification assessment done by VETASSESS (for points test advice), and they assessed my MBA as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Now I’m a bit confused—should I claim 10 points or 15 points for my qualification, considering that my skill assessment body is IML? Appreciate any insights. Thanks in advance!

@@gregormendel sir, I want to clarify my question for my Australian visa application. I recently received my Invitation to Apply (ITA) and have a question about my spouse's details. In my EOI, I mentioned "YES" to "Does the client's partner have a nominated occupation?" and listed "Telecommunications Engineer" based on her BE Electronics qualification. However, I explicitly did not claim any partner skills points for her, and she genuinely does not have any work experience. Now, in the ITA, when asked about her employment history in the last 10 years, I'm wondering if selecting "NO" (as she has no experience) will cause any issues or doubts with the Department of Home Affairs, given I previously nominated an occupation for her in the EOI. My understanding is that since no points are claimed and she has no experience, "NO" is the correct and truthful answer. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

@@gregormendel I got an Invitation to Apply (ITA), but I'm a bit stuck on how to declare my spouse's info. In my EOI, I said "Yes" to nominating my spouse's occupation, but I didn't claim partner skill points because their skill assessment wasn't done. Now they're working, and I'm not getting a skill assessment for them.
My question is: Do I list their previous work experience in the ITA, even though I'm not claiming points for it? I'm really worried that if I don't put their experience in the ITA, it might mess with my visa application, especially since I mentioned their occupation in the EOI.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or have advice? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
