@muggleblood (11H ago| Updated 11H ago)@Gregormendel - what's your catch on the 189-process time by looking at the FOI? Would they clear the November lodgements? Or keep the processing time same.
As at 31 Jan 2025, there are 7000+ visas lodged till Nov end, but only 5000 spots remaining to grant them. So, roughly some of the 189 lodged till Nov end will not be cleared til end of this FY.
Rough cuts: considering FIFO, broadly those towards the end / last 10 days of Nov might overflow. Moreover the priority occupations lodged in this time, and even in Dec will still be granted in this FY, which further reduces spots for non-priority lodged till end of Nov.
