I noticed there are about 400+ sc189 applicants from Jul'24 to Jun'25 in the latest FOI data (Jul'26). Do we happen to know why these applications are still pending after several months, they make up for 4%(assuming 16k invitations) of the applications. Did their applications slip through the gaps or did they just get unlucky getting caught in the latest MD119 and MD122?
Worried if this might be the fate for offshore non-priority Nov'25 round applicants as we near 1 year mark and there's already more invitation rounds planned which will push us back in the queue even further.
DoHA has updated the 189 visa website in which they have published the submission dates of recent applications allocated for processing. Does this mean applications are being processed in parallel now and offshore grants will begin? Haven't seen any offshore grants in recent times. Or will we need to wait for all applications in bullet points 1-3 before bullet point 4 commences?
