Mine was slightly more complicated as I had to go through the courts for a specific issue order. I was also refused support from two of the top visa agents as they said my case was complicated and very unlikely... so did it all myself. For anyone else in this position, you have to take the gamble and do the court application and visa simultaneously. You won't get court approval without being in the visa process and you can't get your visa without courts approval. It's a gamble and it's costly but worth it!
