@scoopydoo27 (1W ago| Updated 1W ago)Wondering if anyone knows how long after S56 will the case officer makes a decision on a 189 visa? * For reference, I lodged my application on 31 OCT 2024 and received S56 on 31 JAN 2025 (submitted the requested documents on 4 FEB 2025).

I've noticed a pattern of people receiving grants shortly after the 28days period... Maybe they only revisit the application after the 28 days.

Not yet… this Friday (28 February) will be the end of the 28 days period. Hopefully will get it then.. or early next week. Fingers crossed.
I got S56 request on January 28th .....still waiting for visa..... hopethat will get soon

Any update for your one?. My S56 is new AFP
No… but I did get notified that the withdrawal process of my TSS482 visa was finalised (applied for TSS482 on 22 August 2024 and requested withdrawal on 6 November 2024 after submitting my 189 visa application).
I was told they won’t grant the 189 visa until any other visa application are withdrawn. So my agent told me that this should be a good sign…
Hopefully will hear about the 189 visa from them tomorrow!!
