This is really brutal. A person of exact same profile and lodging date got grant more than 1.5 months ago. People with similar occupations (non- priority, offshore, similar points) lodged after me are getting grants. And here i am waiting since more than 9.5 months. I have even surpassed the predicted time and 99% grants.

Hi, i am queensland tax accountant. i am working in my field since feb 2024. lodged several EOI's . But didn't get invited. Left with 4 month visa. And queensland has removed accountants from skill list. i have no idea, what to do. which state eoi i should lodge. please help

Hi just saw this post on Facebook: IMMI 'Ready to decide' Letter

Hey all, I recently received "IMMI Letter" for my 485 (Higher education stream) application. Content provided in quotes below:

"We are ready to decide your Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa application but note you already hold a subclass 500 visa. As grant of a Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa will cease your subclass 500 visa, please advise how you wish to proceed.

For your information, your Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa application must be

decided. The Department can grant or refuse a visa. Visa applicants have the option to

withdraw."

I am on a student visa active till Oct 2026 and currently waiting for a 190 grant. Would i also be getting an email like this in case my visa decision is made or would they just grant it?

Just asking out of curiosity any advice is appreciated

Hi @gregormendel, if one has lived in the past in a country for which he has provided PCC. After a year, is it necessary to renew that past country PCC, or just renewing current country residence is enough. I am asking since its difficult to get that country PCC.
