ATO payment plan issue + S56 request confusion — will this affect my visa? Hey everyone, I need some advice. I accidentally paid my ATO instalments into my income tax account instead of using BPAY for my payment plan account. Because of this, the payment plan statement shows October as overdue, even though the money appears in the income tax account.
My concern: Will immigration accept the income-tax-account payment evidence, or will the “overdue” in the payment plan statement cause a problem?
I got S56 after 10 months and 18 days, and they also asked for a new police clearance.
Anyone been through something similar? Will this affect the S56 outcome?
