Police clearance certificates - Netherlands Request detail The copy of the Netherlands police certificate you have submitted is not suitable for the purposes of your subclass 189 visa application. Information regarding the acceptable police clearance certificate for Netherlands is available on the Department’s website: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/contact-us/ offices-and-locations/offices-outside-australia (select Netherlands from the dropdown menu, click Police Check then click view more). Once you have received a copy of the acceptable police clearance you are required to provide a copy via your ImmiAccount. If the clearance cannot be provided within the timeframe you should provide a copy of evidence that demonstrates you have applied for the acceptable clearance (for example, a copy of the receipt) Please note the purpose of the certificate should be listed as visa and emigiation. Police certificates You must provide police certificate(s) from each country where you have lived for a total of 12 months or more in the last 10 years as evidence that you satisfy the character requirements. These 12 months are calculated cumulatively and need not have been consecutive. The name on the police certificate(s) must match the name in your passport and must include any other names or aliases you are or have been known by. If the name on the police clearance certificate(s) received by us is different from your passport or does not list all other names you have been known by, you will be requested to obtain another police certificate(s). If you are unable to obtain a police certificate, it is in your best interest to demonstrate to us, with documentary evidence where possible, that you have made a genuine attempt to obtain the relevant certificate(s). If we are satisfied that you are unable to obtain a police certificate(s) and have made a genuine attempt to do so, then a waiver of this requirement may be granted. If you do not provide the police certificate(s) and I am satisfied that it is reasonable for you to provide them, your application may be refused. Some countries may need you to obtain a letter from us confirming the request for a police certificate. Stream: Points-Tested Stream SkillSelect invitation Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect for Skilled Migration to Australia. You are invited to apply for a 189 (PTS) visa. This invitation and the points score have been issued on the basis of the information you provided in your EOI. The Department has not yet assessed the claims in your EOI. Being invited to apply for a visa does not guarantee that you will be able to make a valid visa application or that an application will be successful. Most skilled visas have requirements that must be satisfied at the date of invitation for a visa application to succeed. Your invitation is valid for 60 calendar days from the date of this letter. It enables you to satisfy one of the requirements for making a valid application for a 189 (PTS) visa, provided the application is lodged on or before 06 Jan 2025. As an invitation has been issued, this EOI is now locked and cannot be amended. If you need to amend this EOI, you can do so when it unlocks after 60 calendar days or, alternatively, you can create a new EOI. This invitation cannot be transferred to any other EOI.

Thanks for your e-mail. That’s a great outcome. Congratulations! I have now updated and resubmitted both of your EOI’s with an additional 5 points for CCL points. The updated EOI’s are attached together with the new points breakdowns and auto-generated update letters from SkillSelect. You are now claiming 75 points under Subclass 189 and 80 points under Subclass 190. NSW is still not open but is expected to later this month. I’ll be in touch if there is any movement.

Using your skills assessment outcome and the information we have on file for you, I have now prepared and lodged two EOI’s for you. NSW insist on a separate EOI for their Subclass 190 nominations, hence the two separate EOI’s. One EOI is for Subclass 190 (NSW) and the other is for Subclass 189.
