Completed Visa Medicals
My husband's medicals were completed. He had valid medicals for our previous 482 visa application at the time I submitted the 190 application, and just needed to get the HIV test. Those medicals expired on 11/01/2023 and nothing updated in Immi account, or his referral letter. When he got to BUPA, they were aware of this and asked him to complete all medicals again, which he did. At no stage was there any indication of this in Immi.

Received English Test Results
This took forever. There was a technical issue during my test (that I wasn't advised of). When I contacted Pearson after a couple of weeks to enquire about my results, they claimed they had contacted me to tell me there was a delay. They had not. I asked what needed to happen from here to receive my results and nobody had an answer. I called and was given the same response. I asked to speak to a Supervisor which took a long time on hold. Eventually the Supervisor told me the same information (there was a delay and nobody knew when my results would come in, or if I'd have to resit the test). I asked for an email address to submit a complaint to management and then my test results appeared an hour later - 90/90/90/90.

I received a positive skills assessment for my current role at the time. VETASSESS knocked two years off the start of my experience as my degrees were not relevant to my occupation. My degrees were assessed as being of a suitable standard.

Interview with CO from VETASSESS carried out. He asked the same questions in a variety of ways about my duties. I kept the ANZSCO job description open throughout and made sure I referred to it so I could use the correct wording to align my responsibilites to the description.
