Currently on 491. Got married recently . Myself and partner got 491 granted as defacto. Do we need to update the changes on immi now that we are married ? Cannot find any options on the immi account itself to do it.

I have got a request so submit regional address but I have a small question hope you can answer.

My partner works for a retail store Company A in Geelong but now he has changed departments and the new store he works has a different name but still operates under main Company entity A’s ABN. His payslips shows Company A name & ABN just shows a different dept on the payslip.

It’s only two doors down from Company A. If he uploads his original contract and payslip will he need to explain the change as his psychical address of the current store is different to his original contract?

Can someone please help me. Currently on 491 visa if I quit my main job and start two casual jobs which job should I update on immi ? When I checked they only let me update one job. But confused and don’t want anything affecting my 191.

Could you please advice if we need to update our second casual job on immi while on 491 ? Eg: uber eats or own business from home in regional

Also What if our main job is casual now for like 15 hours and I get another casual job ? Do I need both updated or just one ?

@gregormendel - Can you please let me know how to calculate the salary to put on my reference letter. I get paid hourly / plus loading rates for weekends. bit confusing how to put this on the employment reference letter. Do i put the same amount as the ROI claimed amount or can it be more now since my hourly pay has increased?

I have got my Business Bachelors Degree from China verified and got a point test advice done both from VETASSES that shows it is AQF comparable. can i use this points test advice now to claim 15 points on my EOI for my Bachelors?

I have got my TRA skills assessment as a chef and they have assessed my Cert IV in commercial cookery.

Hi ,

It’s been a year since I lodged my 491. I just found out that I have put one address wrong that I lived offshore the 10 year address proof.

Example - address A from birth till time I left the country. Should be address A from birth to 2010 and then Address B from 2010 till I left the country. Clearly left address B out.

I have submitted a notification of incorrect answers and updated this.

Would this cause any issues ? As I realized I have done this mistake on my 485 application as well. That was granted and now on bridging 491.
