@kamilsiddiqui (3D ago| Updated 3D ago)This post is regarding ACS skill assessment. So i started in a company with one abn i worked on that abn for 7months after that company changed the abn and I worked 5 more months after 1 year i submitted skill assessment with reference letter stating that from this date company moved me to another child company. I received the acs outcome in which they have given me 1 year positive skill assessment under the abn i started working initially. Now i am submitting eoi and if i get invite will it be a problem in proving my 1 year experience points? Please let me know i am super confused
If ACS has assessed you to have 1 year experience, you can use it. Just make sure to add your employment history correctly and mark the relevant experience as relevant to get points only for that, when you submit the EOI.
Thanks for helping me on this. But abn is different though it is a same company they moved me from one department overall company worker to work across different departments. And i am confused that you are saying that i should add my employment history correctly can you explain me more on this. Please
Your employment history should match what you claimed and got in the ACS report. I am not familiar with Australian employment, so I am not sure if a different ABN is relevant here. If you can share your employment history as it is in ACS report here in text, I can know better.
I imagine it's like
Company A - 1 Jan 2024 - 31 Jul - 2024 ( 7 months ) Child Company A - 1 Aug 2024 - 31 Dec 2024 (5 months)
If this is how it is in your report, you'll need to add it exactly like this in your EOI and mark these employment episodes as relevant.
Hi yes you are right i worked for company A from nov 2023 till june 30 2024 then that company moved me company A (child) since july 1 2024 till dec 2024 i was working with company A (child). When i submitted the application to acs obviously i attached the contract what i initially signed with company A but i also submitted reference letter signed by director and hr thay they have moved me to company A child from july 1 2024, i submitted payslips and ato documents to acs but still they have given me whole nov 2023 till dec 2024 under company A name, now what to do this is where my confusion is
@dracos93
I am afraid I don't have a definitive answer for you. If it were me, I would submit an EOI in the same format that ACS has. 1 employment episode of 1 year with the company being your parent company.
How did you submit your ACS application btw? Did you split it up into two episodes as it were or did you add it as just one episode, but include the details about department change just in the reference letter?
If you had two entries as I stated in my earlier comment, I'd be really surprised if ACS consolidated that into one period of experience. They usually assess us on the different episodes we submit in the application.
