Motor mechanic , onshore. No idea mate , DHA is totally unpredictable in terms of visa processing as per my experience.

I understand I get it. I had some tax to pay to ATO but my tax agent told me tick 'No' in Form 80 and said its ABN tax income and told he can provide documents if immigrations asks anything regarding it. Do you think this can hinder of obtaining 189 ?

Yes, MP’s office hasn’t received any reply yet from DHA.

I’ve noticed that the number of lodged applications in my occupation on 70 points have reduced from 31 to 25 , however the applications lodged on 65 points remains the same (38 in total). That’s a good sign that they are clearing the backlog though at a very slow pace.

“‘Under the current Ministerial Direction the highest priority is being afforded to those visa applications made in relation to healthcare or teaching occupations. Visa applications that are not made in relation to these specific occupations are given lower priority, and these applications are generally processed in the order in which they were received.

Each application is unique, however, and each is required to meet the eligibility criteria contained in Australia’s migration legislation, before a visa can be granted. The time taken to process an application varies depending on a range of circumstances, such as the complexity of the application or whether additional checks and further assessment is required. Some delays in processing are experienced due to character and security checks, along with verification of an applicant’s claims. Please assure that he will be contacted once the application progresses.’

Basically just a reiteration of direction 105, nothing more :(

@goofybear 2329 ..yeah this is what they say if you call them as well so nothing special at all but at least this might make you a little noticeable and can help you getting your grant soon, so good luck.
