@@gregormendel, when can we expect the visa (190) grant against the application(Priority Occupation -Medical) lodged on 15th April 2025, Your kind advice will help us to plan accordingly , Thank You
Priority occupation should have been granted by now. All good, lets hope its comes in coming weeks.
@gregormendel Our visa agent has no idea why it has not been granted either. Dec 2nd application, medical passed, no request for any extra information, just radio silence. Two Secondary teachers, invited with 75 points for the 189.
//Our visa agent has no idea// Sometimes, there is no reason, or only DHA knows, or some random bit. So, at this stage you can just ensure your file is decision ready, and hope for the best.
@gregormendel- I am unable to access the immigration website as our agent has uploaded everything; having said that, they have been very thorough so are confident it is decision ready. I only have a screen shot and it says documents received, and the new upload letter is received. Does this mean it has not yet started? I found a thread on this website that says it will change to 'initial assessment' once a CO starts the process, but our agent says nothing changes until Granted.
The initial assessment is the stage where additional documents may be requested (s56), in many cases, the status changes directly from 'Received' to 'Granted"
@cciara so I won't necessarily receive an 'initial assessment commenced' notification like some users are saying they have got?
