Skill Assessment
Engineers Australia skill assessment is the first step to getting a Permanent residency in Australia.
It means that the authorized staff of Engineering Australia will assess and authenticate your qualification, work experience, and duties for immigration purposes, according to the standards set by the Australian Government. Based on your Skill assessment results, you will know if your profile will fit to get an Engineers skilled visa.
Why is a Skills assessment needed?
- A compulsory requirement to be fulfilled before applying for a Skilled Visa
- Authenticates your proficiency in Engineering
- Engineers Australia approval letter will accompany the Visa application to the Department of home affairs
- Might add additional points based on work experience in your profession
Applicants to EA with an accredited qualification must provide their qualification details, including an academic transcript of their degree qualification/s.
Applicants who do not have a recognized qualification must submit a Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) to EA, which is a detailed report on qualifications attained, how engineering experience and knowledge have been applied, and how the competency standards of the relevant engineering classification in Australia have been met.
